New York pianist Jim Badzik is an exponent of the not too numerous community of American Boogie Woogie pianists. He follows the musical paths of his role model and friend Bob Seeley from Detroit, who became his mentor and took him along to European festivals. Jim was also co-organizer of several Boogie Woogie concerts with Axel Zwingenberger, Ray Bryant, Bob Seeley and himself at New York’s legendary Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall).
