The initial idea: Axel Zwingenberger and Vince Weber invite musical friends from all over Europe, even from the US, for a big session on 88 black-and-white keys to Hamburg.

The party lasted for 3 days (better nights): session at Vince's home in Wandsbek, session at Poldi's "Sperl", the music bar in downtown Hamburg, last but not least the gigantic session at "FABRIK". The piano keys almost started to smoke, the audition had to sweat severely!

There are very few photos of that time - people simply went to a party without thinking of cameras or filming. Mobile phones or other mobile devices hadn't been invented yet.

Many thanks to Karin Linnewedel who has provided these photos to us. She was already there at the sound check, also during the concert in the backstage area. Unfortunately during the long concert the film came to an end much too early...
